Miwatj Health is an independent Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service—one of Australia’s largest Aboriginal healthcare providers.

We provide quality healthcare services across East Arnhem Land and are committed to enabling Yolŋu-powered community health and wellbeing.

Miwatj Health djäma (work) empowers Yolŋu people to take control of their lives and direct their own futures. We offer fixed-clinic and outreach services to over 6,000 remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander residents.

The Miwatj Health Head Office is in Nhulunbuy on the Gove Peninsular (East Arnhem Land). We have a Corporate Office in Darwin, and 7 fixed health clinics in:
